Filming

Our extra scenes were filmed today. We had a time limit and we stuck to it, we filmed the scene multiple times and did playback until everyone in the group agreed it was to the right standard.

Changes

Today our group finally decided on a scene which would make our thriller look more realistic. The scene is where the antagonist is following the protagonist, to try and kill her however his plan is disrupted when a friend of the protagonist comes along. The antagonist feels he cannot kill her yet so he just followed her instead. We used the same friend of the look-a-like because the antagonist would think it was the protagonist therefore making it Mistaken Identity.

Editing

We finished our editing today however we came across the problem of our thriller being too short. This resulted in going back to the start which was gathering ideas that would work in making the opening look better and easier for the audience to understand the plot.

Target Audience

Before we started our filming we took account of the target audience research that we had done. We looked at our results for what people enjoy the most about thrillers, then we incorporated it into our thriller. We added suspense since that was what the majority liked secondly we added mind games.

When we first made our inital ideas for our thriller we said our target would be teenagers/young adults. Our survey was answered by our target audience therefore our thriller will definitely appeal to the audience. We have done our research.

Editing

I finished editing the footage that we recorded, meaning the basics are done, now all I need to do is add transitions, music and titles, to make it effectively look like a thriller opening. We all decided that our titles will be in a font named 'Cracked' because the style of the font relates to thrillers.

Filming

Our filming process; as I said previously despite the cold we were all determined to finish filming.

We had fun while we were filming otherwise we wouldn't be able to work as well as we did as a group.

We kept looking over the our recorded footage and developed it,
we wanted perfection and nothing less.
