Question Three: What type of media institution might distribute our media product and why?Our thriller can attract the young audience yet at the same time a mid-20s to 30s audience, I say this because we have elements of shock and suspense which most hollywood thrillers have. When we interviewed those in their mid-30s they said they like the idea unknown feelings which are created by the film, they feel involved.
I thought I could make a mind map to illustrate my ideas in a simpler way than reading paragraphs. It was made on a site called http://www.onemotion.com/flash/sketch-paint/
For the UK, FilmFour might distribute it since most audiences can identify with it. In the USA most may want to distribute our thriller. It could be watched at cinema (digital) most people go to the cinema as a social day out. It could also be watched on the internet, Youtube, DVD and maybe on television; the younger audience are highly into new technology therefore they can be reached through technology (e-mails, phones, computers). A high-tech campaign would be the best way for them to know that Mistaken Identity is out.

The film Shifty was clever with their marketing strategy, they used a viral campaign. They took the bold colour scheme of 'Kill Bill' therefore targeting the 'Kill Bill' audience through colour. The "urban" audience through urban rap music which is not even present in the film. Finally a house audience with the actually type of music. They created three types of trailers so they could get their film out to a wider audience.
